JOSIPA SARIC
ABOUT ME

About three decades ago, I decided to become a painter. The Universe, however, had different plans, and it wasn't until 2002 that I began to act upon that decision. I enrolled at the Arts Academy, a few years later, where I earned a Master's degree in painting.

Things were looking good, and I was deep into my art. From 2013 my main focus shifted to supporting others in improving their artistic skills, which turned out to be another personal passion.

My own art is an exploration of the fine line between the abstract and the figurative and it often takes the form of an acrylic painting, though I experiment with a range of mediums and approaches.
For me, art is a means of personal expression, and my work often has a diary-like quality.

I held my first art workshop at the International Child Festival in 2007, and since then, I have had the privilege to work with people of all ages and walks of life.

After spending some time working at local schools, I started to organize group drawing and painting workshops in collaboration with different associations and galleries. Finally, in 2012, I began with individual coaching.

I share my knowledge with all who have the will to create, no matter the previous experience, so they can express themselves confidently through drawing and painting, or perhaps even walk that path professionally.

My focus is on working with adults, especially people that still carry that artistic spark, even if life had taken them in a different direction.

I prefer to devote myself to each of my students and their unique challenges, working with people individually or in small groups.
My art coaching is now also available online.
